Sam + Mike

Sam and I honed in on activating the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Hall. After researching and relating to personal experience we came to the conclusion that children are interested in games as well as young adults. In this generation technology is a huge thing so relating the real life sculptures is something that can be taken home and interacted with outside of the museum. The content of our game is the cultures utilizing the idea of a collection just as a museum functions. To activate the education aspect of the sculpture park we are introducing these visuals to the user of the game. Children and young adults would atlas be familiar with the art work as well as the artist.
inspirations
These inspirations were attractive in the sense that they are simplistic but highly engaging. These games contain a sense of competitiveness that is approachable and friendly which is an aspect that we want to bring into our game
Angry Bird
Monument Valley
Bloons
Lilo & Stich Sandwich Maker
Super Mario
research
These articles spoke to designing for children in terms of apps and games which what we will be doing. The second article talks abut the Birth of Big Bird and there merging of fantasy and real life. Mike and I are attempting to do that with the combination of real life sculptures and representing those in 2D space.
